經過沙鹿車站，可以感受到舊時建築所保有的風格與氛圍。

站前的市場人聲鼎沸，此起彼落的的交談聲正在進行。

走到站後則是遼闊的藍天與飛機劃過頭頂的低鳴，陪伴著在等候區來來往往的旅客。

沙鹿車站也像台灣其他地方的車站，有著新與舊的建造痕跡，磚瓦推砌而成的牆面，與三角型屋頂的基督教堂，都染上印象深刻的橘紅色。

這些建物彼此融合，並形成特有的樣貌保留在沙鹿車站周邊的巷弄裡。

在探訪車站的過程中，吸引我目光的是沙鹿車站裡面面相連的窗戶，正午的陽光透過每片窗曬進了室內，成為沙鹿車站裡共同的景色。

因此，便試圖將沙鹿週邊環境的自然與人文，融入在這一面面的窗，成為旅客心中的窗景。

讓人們在等待的同時，也能享受此微微透光，映照在車站內的繽紛情景。

This art installation is a massive glass window featuring the townscape and everyday life at Shalu Station. Shalu Station, like other stations in Taiwan, combines new and old architectural elements in an historic setting, anchoring residents with a sense of tradition. The front of the station is crowded with pedestrians, scenes of talking and bargaining, and other sights and sounds of a thriving market. The rear of the station depicts commuting passengers against a blue sky. Circles in the artwork, simulating the consecutive arrangement of station windows, frame and display the environment and culture of the town. The cultural elements include a gable-roofed church and other historic buildings. When the window is illuminated during the day, these scenes remind passengers of their own connections and history with the town.
